Implementing Adverse Reaction Reporting

HL7® FHIR® or Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources is the next generation HL7 standard in healthcare data integration and is focused on decreasing interoperability costs and unlocking innovation in healthcare. FHIR represents a major upgrade in healthcare standards and is boosting access to health information and support for the health sector. From the beginning, FHIR has been developed as a standard that is implementer focused and is more straightforward to deploy compared to other standards that are available (or, indeed, some bespoke solutions). However, while implementer experience suggests that this is true, healthcare remains an extremely complex domain.
