Orion Health secures first Enterprise contract in United Arab Emirates

Orion Health continues to expand its global reach with the first deployment of its comprehensive hospital solution in the United Arab Emirates, the company announced today.

Orion Health Senior Vice President, Enterprise David Leach says the landmark contract with leading maternity provider Oasis Hospital will see the company deploy its Enterprise, Consult and Rhapsody solutions throughout the hospital.

“Oasis Hospital is a progressive healthcare provider and has been at the forefront of providing world-class treatment for women, children and families in the Eastern Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for over 50 years.

“The hospital known as the ‘Birthplace of Leaders for a Nation’ and its projected growth is 20% annually. Orion Health solutions will enable this growth by streamlining the flow of information and connecting patient, clinical, ancillary, and finance workflows across the hospital.”

Oasis Hospital Chief Information Officer Trevor Bunch says he is looking forward to working with Orion Health to improve the hospital’s service for the benefit of UAE’s growing population. 

“I’m very excited about the prospect of having a long term relationship with Orion Health. It’s a sound solution with vast configurability that can be tailored precisely to our current and anticipated needs,” Mr Bunch says. 

Orion Health UAE General Manager Sam Amory says that following on from the agreement with Oasis Hospital, the Orion Health Enterprise solution is gaining wider interest in the UAE.

“The Orion Health team are delighted to be working with a prestigious hospital like Oasis to be our launch customer in the region. We look forward to strong partnership and wonderful friendship,” Mr Amory says.
