Orion Health Collaborative 2015

November 12, 2015 Karen Ewing, Senior Director, North American Marketing

This year's conference attracted a record number of attendees including more than 170 clients from both the United States and Canada.

Last month, Orion Health's global leadership team, employees, clients and partners gathered in Scottsdale, Arizona for our third annual North American Healthcare Collaborative event.

It's no secret that the healthcare industry is undergoing massive change, which is why the conference focused on the theme of “future proofing” technology for tomorrow's challenges. Innovative technology is no longer an amenity that is “nice to have,” but has become an absolute necessity for delivering value-based care and improving outcomes across the continuum. Orion Health is dedicated to providing next generation technology that meets today's demands, and ensures organizations are adequately prepared for the future.

Throughout the three-day conference, Orion Health leaders shared insights on the company's latest achievements, highlighted new client use cases and revealed the company's vison for the future, which included an exciting product roadmap. Clients had the opportunity to engage in open dialogue and learn from others' challenges and successes.

Among the roster of impressive speakers was Indu Subaiya, co-founder of Health 2.0, who gave the first keynote address. Indu discussed how an “ecosystem of partnerships” is key for organizations to balance population health with precision medicine, and stressed the importance of data-driven healthcare transformation.

Another highlight of the event was a presentation from our client, Scottsdale Health Partners, about its implementation of our Healthier Populations solution suite for effective population health management. They also shared the ways their clinicians are leveraging Orion Health's innovative technology to provide high quality, coordinated care. In another session, clients from Alberta Health Services in Canada showcased its partnership with Orion Health and how it supports new patient-centered care models by turning data into actionable information.
